Git is a distributed version control system, originally designed for Linux kernel development and large projects with non-linear workflows. It's comprised of individual tools, reuses ssh and rsync protocols, emphasises speed and data integrity, and keeps every checkout as full-fledged repository, and cryptographically authenticates source history. Various graphical frontends, IDE integrations and web services (GitHub) exist; with its git-fast-export format meanwhile serves interoperability with bzr, hg, fossil, svn.

minor feature: Because recent Git for Windows do come with a real msgfmt, the, build procedure for git-gui has been updated to use it instead of a, hand-rolled substitute. " C(color name)" in the pretty print format always produced ANSI, color escape codes, which was an early design mistake. They now, honor the configuration (e.g. "color.ui = never") and also tty-ness, of the output medium. "git push --recurse-submodules there HEAD: target" was not, propagated down to the submodules, but now it is. Monitorix 3.10.0 💾

Monitorix is a free, open source, lightweight system monitoring tool designed to monitor as many services and system resources as possible. It has been created to be used under production Linux/UNIX servers, but due to its simplicity and small size can be used on embedded devices as well.

major feature: This new version introduces two new graphs and improves clearly an old one: the System graph. After a notable people demand, I've included a new graph to monitor IPMI sensors (temperatures, fans and voltages). The second new graph monitors an unlimited number of MongoDB servers (either local or remote). As said, the System graph has been improved and now it includes two new sub-graphs: one that shows the system's entropy and another that shows the uptime of the system. The memory graph has also been enhanced including the values of memory active and inactive. Besides these new graphs, this version introduces a new option (enabled by default) called enable_parallelizing, which will speed up dramatically the graph generation in multi-core systems. This should also benefit people using Monitorix in Raspberry Pi systems and similar with multi-core processors. I'll be glad to get some feedback on this. More news, since now all graphs that show sensors will include an alert capability to be able to execute an external shell script if the value of a sensor exceed an specific threshold. The rest of new features, changes and bugs fixed are, as always, reflected in the Changes file. Please, check the monitorix.conf(5) man page for all the details. NOTICE: The configuration file monitorix.conf has been extended with important changes.

Move Timer and State Jobs out of namespaces because things like timer and if are really core. Create dummy super classes from depricated namespace jobs. Introduce a witheach job that behaves like foreach except that values are 'pushed' into it. Document synthetic annotations in the Developer Guide. Document conversions. Possibly include conversions in the Reference. Add the ability to change the log level from the UI. Add LogLevel TRACE and NONE to match Log4j. Add serialisation of services. Use a server side file system for choosing files on server component designer forms. Allow pasting and dragging Oddjobs onto the startup panel of Oddjob Explorer. Introduce the idea of Read only configuration that can't be modified if it's been loaded from a non modifiable resource, i.e. from the class path. Check a configuration hasn't been modified by someone else before a modification is saved back from designer. Add Undo functionality to Oddjob configuration. Improve the job. Follow Ant's lead of changing to a job and copy some of it's feature including; overwrite, force, failonerror, verbose, preservelastmodified. BuildAMation 1.1.4b1 💾

BuildAMation is an open source build system and project generator for Windows, Linux and macOS desktop software development in C/C++. It has a declarative markup language based on C# runtime compilation (using Mono on Linux and macOS), and has a plugin system to implement different backends, such as multi-threaded command line builds, VisualStudio or Xcode project generation, or MakeFiles. Common compiler/linker/archiver settings are exposed via C# properties, so you can configure the build using named settings rather than having to remember each toolchain's command line switches (handy for cross-platform development). Build scripts are debuggable in VisualStudio or Xamarin Studio. You can profile it with any standard tools. A number of standard open source projects have had build scripts written for them already, such as Qt, flex, bison, Python, zeromq, libtiff, zlib. CMake is a similar product.
